Why use steam in sanitizing? Used under pressure, the steam acts like a natural disinfectant and degreaser. It kills germs and bacteria, dissolves grease and oil, cleanses thoroughly. Diffused at one centimeter of distance, it treats the surface to be cleaned at a continuous temperature of 120°C/248°F, generating a tiny amount of condensation.
How effective is steam sanitizing? Harmful bacteria can't survive at those temperatures, making commercial steam cleaners effective sanitizers. The heat effectively kills 99.99 percent of bacteria and mold. Steam cleaners also neutralize allergens and eliminate organic contaminants like fungus and yeast.
What is the main benefit of using steam for cleaning of your vehicle? Bacteria is often unseen by the naked eye, but when steam is applied with correct temperature and technique , this helps the bacteria and germs to be killed, providing a completely sanitary result.
